Money. It makes the world go around. Africa included. Uganda too.

The question is: how do you make it, who makes it, where, when, for what, and really, for the average reader, why does it matter? After all, reading about money doesn’t mean you’re getting any richer.

I hope these stories explain why money matters, and why you should read them. They mostly relate to East African trade, finance, business, companies, banks and the energy sector. They look at East Africa’s role within the wider global economy. Increasingly, the y will examine these same themes, but in the European context.
